Brandon grew up on a working dairy farm near Helenville, where he attended St. Peter's Lutheran School. He then graduated from Jefferson High School in 2006, UW-Platteville in 2011, and the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2014. Besides his legal career, Brandon also serves in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as a field artillery officer.
